I've been using xubuntu as my rescue cd and evacuating all the data in the hard-drive. Then, they go to my macbook, which has norton antivirus and some spy/ad-ware sweeper to get rid of any virus in the way.
This situation is just plain strange. I can't find any virus and I've tried Norton, NOD32, AVG and Kaspersky.
So does the virus exists? Either way, I am going to have to delete everything and start over.

Scary. On my home network, that would be my worst nightmare on my windows computers.
I agree that the best approach would just be to recover all your data, reinstall windows and just hope that it won't come back again.
Just remember to recover your internet bookmards too.
lol, yes
Currently, I don't think I lost any data, it's just as if they have been switched around.
And it takes very long to boot and turn off.
And my start menu theme has downgraded.
My conclusion is simply that antivirus software will not protect you from everything.
And I am a firewall too, so I doubt it will be too easy to just come in.
Oh yeah,
Ron Paul's new book, "The Revolution: A Manifesto" has come out on top in Amazon.com
He says money goes to the campaign, so I reckon that's a way to donate directly...
Meanwhile, I'm reading about Barack Obama's "Audacity of Hope", which shows just how different his views are from Ron Paul and why people should not switch to voting for him if Ron Paul ever gets out.
