do you any female geeks out there?

no. Almost, none.

Despite billions of dollars dumped worldwide into trying to get girls on equal terms as we boys,

they have failed.

lol.

A clear difference is seen the very moment we started RobotBeryl. Nearly every guy managed to finish task 8 by the end of the lesson. (not including documentation)
Meanwhile, girls were "avoiding" the task and trying to spend an hour on the title of the sysdoc.

UPDATE: check this out. Finally some sensable feminists. Trying to take a balance between the 2 extremists.

However, I've come up with something much better - gender-utopianism.

Why do you think so? discuss here.

No, there are. It's just that they are not in your class.

At least that's what I think.

there is a lot more men than women geeks. face it.

Besides, if you're great at academic stuff, you won't want to be a geek. Girls can be nerds, but they aren't geeks.

It's not that they aren't "smart" enough, it's to do with biogical differences in the brain.

Note the fine difference.

ah, yes. And there's a typo in the title.

Are you claiming the fact that the distinction is as clear as a male's inability to bear child? You put the arguement on the fact the biology of the women.

While I do agree female geeks are less numuerous, they do exist. I think you just didn't get to see them and that you are looking at the subject a bit too narrowly.

(just got my laptop's keyboard swamped with some water! Had to dry it somehow... The "b" key and the "n" key didn't quite work and I had to clean them. Hope it will turn out fine.)

yup, you're right. I AM putting it on biology. No, I'm not claiming that it's as destinct as that.

By the way, you can be transgender and you can have a baby. But your ID card will still be male.
got you! ( just started another argument.)

The biology can affect you throughout your life. The hormones are secreted many times in a lifetime. Nurture is supposed to include that too.

The reason why geeks can exist is not (just) intelligence, it's because of rebellious attitude and many other things, such as "thinking school is stupid".

There are female geeks, but hardly any. As their "GCSE marks" begin to raise, they probably won't bother it during their adolescent years.

Being geeky means that you're picking your own route to your future. It means an addiction of something technical. A skill that requires a lot of self-learning.
